Serežánský choir
Šerežaner Corps
(also Seressaner, Serezaner)
Serežánský choir was established in 1871. It was a security formation that has worked in croatia-slavonské part of the Military frontier and which was the local equivalent of the gendarmerie. Serežánský choir built on the former serežánské sections. The choir was in the military záložitostech subordinate to the military teritoriálnímu headquarters in Zagreb, respectively, in another instance of the then říšskému the ministry of war. In matters výkou the security services was the choir under the authority of the místněpříslušným political authorities.
Serežánský the choir consisted of about 400 men. The corps was commanded by senior officer (e.g. in the year of 1873 officer in the rank of major). The choir was supplemented by volunteers from the ranks of the military vysloužilců. The choir is divided on the wings (Flügel) and those of the crew (Zug). Serežáni were initially armed with a rifle for the special forces Werndl, from 1872 repeating rifle Fruhwirth. In 1881 he was serežánský choir cancelled. His team has been transferred to the state of the croatia-slavonian gendarmerie.
