¹⁾ After the surrender, he escaped capture and tried to with a group of officers get to Hungary. After a failed attempt he went to Warsaw. From 1940 he was active in an armed resistance in the ranks of the of the Union of armed struggle, 14.02.1942 renamed the the Earth's army. From 1941 he was an officer III. department (operational) headquarters of the Provincial army, and later his head. In the Warsaw uprising was, inter alia, a representative of the chief of staff of the Main headquarters of the Provincial army. After the defeat of the uprising was to 30.01.1945 in German captivity. He returned to Poland, where he was 14.10.1950 arrested by state security and for the activities in the Earth's army was in 26.01.1953 sentenced to 6 years in prison. In 1955 he was released and 01.02.1958 rehabilitated. He died 11.02.1984 in Lodz at the age of 87 years. In October (?) 1943 he was promoted to the rank of colonel. 18.08.1944 he was awarded the Gold cross of the Order Virtuti Militari for the excellent service in the period of the heaviest fighting of the Warsaw uprising at the level of headquarters.

However, it is not included in the list of captured. After the war he remained in the West, first in Britain and later in the united states. 08.02.1970 died in Chicago at the age of 70 years.

In April 1943 he was promoted to the rank of major and 02.10.1944, with effect (from starszeństwem)from 27.09.1944, to the rank of lieutenant colonel.

During the mobilization he was assigned to the Replacement center cavalry in Nowowilejce (today Naujoji Vilnic) and together with military units of escaped 19.09.1939 to Lithuania. After the occupation of Lithuania by the soviets in July 1940 transferred to the soviet camp in the Starobielsku and later in Grjazovci. After the signing of the Sikorski-Majski (30.07.0941) on the basis of the amnesty 02.09.1941 released and joined the Polish army in the USSR. He served as a chaplain iu 7. the regiment of light artillery, 6. infantry division, 3. the division of carpathian gunners.

¹²⁾ After crossing over the river Vistula with most of the eskadrony joined to 4. eskadroně and later was deputy commander of the Merged eskadrony 13. hulánského regiment. After the surrender he fell 28.09.1939 into German captivity in the city of Przemyśl. After the liberation he returned to Poland. In Gdansk started a family, where 18.08.1978 died at the age of 76 years. He is buried at the Muslim Tatar cemetery in Warsaw.
