Multi-light aircraft air bomb SAB-250-200, caliber 250 kg weighing 200 kg is designed to illuminate the terrain for aerial visual survey and targeted bombardment at night.
The bomb is designed for both exterior and interior hangers and can be used from aircraft on which 250 kg bombs are hung, from a height of up to 20,000 m at an aircraft speed of up to 2,500 km/h and an ambient air temperature of ± 60 ° C.
The use of a bomb in the rain, snowdrops or fog is not recommended.
Puma construction
SAB-250-200 consists of:
- casings - welded, cylindrical, material - steel sheet with a thickness of 5 mm,
- initiation case,
- cap - is intended to ensure the normal ejection of the flare system,
- 7 pyrotechnic lamps,
- 3 tubes
- parachute system with a disconnecting mechanism - is designed to scatter and l to ensure different descent of burning flares,
- the bottom of the casing.
