Holland knows the other commemorative medal, which refers to the siege of Naarden. The medal was founded in 1814 and own decoration is made of bronze. The medal has a diameter of 38 mm, but we know the medal 35 millimeters in diameter.


DESCRIPTION OF THE MEDALS:

Obverse:
The medal has a raised edge of the area and is a laurel wreath four-line inscription:

BELEG / VAN / NAARDEN / 1814 - (Siege of Naarden 1814)

Garland is at the bottom and are joined by the label medal "H. OE. Heus F.

Reverse:
Medals at the edge of an oak wreath, which is linked at the bottom of the ribbon. Free space is filled pětiřádkovým inscription:

Hulda / VAN DE / Hoofd / CONNISSIE / TE AMSTERDAM / AAN /

The bottom open area in most cases is engraved the name of the wearer. At the top of the medal is solid tab with the mounting ring.

RIBBON:
Prescribed narrow width of 33 mm white ribbons are 5 mm black center stripe on the sides and bright red 6 mm wide edge strips.

The medal is also appears under the heading for victory in Naarden (Naarden Siege Medal 1814). Original medal was given to 990 pieces.
