Original Czechoslovak construction marked 10cm light howitzer vz. 14/19. The first howitzers were purchased to Poland from their manufacturer - Škoda plants in Pilsen and at the same time a contract was concluded for their licensed production in Poland. In 1928 production began in Starachowice and from 1938 also in Stalowa Wola. In Poland, minor modifications were made and was produced with the designation 100 mm haubica wz. 14/19P. In total, around 900 pieces were produced in Poland.
In 1939, the Polish artillery units were equipped with 517 of these howitzers.
In 1937, eight pieces were adapted for the 1st Motorized Artillery Regiment. The wooden wheels were replaced by rubber rubber wheels and the modified howitzers were towed by a C4P artillery tractor.
Another 13 pieces were in the armament of armored trains. They were placed in a rotating steel tower of an artillery car.
Howitzer vz. 14/19 were in the arsenal of howitzer light artillery divisions as part of the divisional light artillery regiments and howitzer independent light artillery divisions. The howitzer was pulled by a horse-drawn six carriage attached behind a wheel.
Part of the service, as the smallest organizational unit of artillery, was the second six-carriage, which pulled the wheel and behind it the artillery chute.
The cannon was staffed by 12 people:
Cannon commander, aimer, charger, noise commander, two feeders and 6 horse-riders (each pair of horses in the six-carriage had one rider-driver).
The supply of divided ammunition was stored in two wheels of 27 pieces of grenades vz. 28, vz. 31 or shrapnel and in the noise - 36 grenades.
The firing range was set at 40 grenades.
