A research container from the 1970s. For photographic as well as electronic research (ELINT). It contained optical cameras as well as a system for electronic research, bu & # 271; SRS-7 (the first production version, also used by the Polish Air Force on the Su-20R) or SRS-9 Vira & # 382 ;. It is designed for photographic research from small and medium heights, day and night, as well as for electronic research.


An improved variant of the KKR-1TE/2-54 was introduced in the early 1980s, with an export version of the KKR-1TE/2-54K. The length of the container is 6.79 m, width 0.59 m, height 0.58 m. Empty weight 302 kg and full weight and & # 382; 800 kg. Wear & # 269; is not limited in flight speed, but only maneuvers with a maximum overload are allowed. 3.5 g.
The container consists of two modules & # 367 ;. The first is the photographic part, located in the front. It contains a camera A-39 for vertical or oblique shooting, one camera PA-1 for oblique shooting, the last is a night camera UA-47. At the back is a second module, designed for electronic research, which contains the SRS-13 Thong & # 382; (also known as 33S output).


The A-39 camera was developed in the 1950s and has become the most popular for military use in the Soviet army. In the KKR container, it can be placed in two positions - either # 271; for forward scanning to the end of the container or vertically. It is designed for shooting from small and medium heights, the range of use is at heights of 500 and 382; 5000 m, p & # 345; i allowed a maximum speed of 1500 km/h. The A-39 uses an 80 mm film and has a focal length of 100 mm. In the middle of the image, the resolution is 44 & # 345; lines & # 367; per millimeter. The width of the captured belt is 0.7 times the flight height of the carrier (for vertical installation) and twice the flight height for oblique shooting. The length of continuous shooting gradually reaches gradually. 120 and 180 times the flight altitude.


The PA-1 camera allows you to take oblique shots at low altitudes, and & # 382; up to 1200 m and at speeds between 200 and 1000 km/h. It uses a film with a width of 80 mm, the focal length is 90.5 mm. When shooting from a height of 500 m, the resolution is 20 cm.


The last camera in KKR is the UA-47 night camera, which is combined in the container with the KRF-38, which ensures the lighting of the scene by means of lights. The UA-47 has two lenses, each tilted by 16 degrees & # 328; & # 283; from the vertical, one to the left, the other to the right. & # 268; activity takes place at altitudes of 300 and & # 382; 1000 meters & # 367; and speeds between 750 and 1100 km/h.
The film used has a width of 80 mm, its length is sufficient for 152 pairs of images. There are a total of 4 KRF-38 lamps in KKR, each with a supply of 38 lamps. The KRF-38 allows you to discharge lights at a rate of one in 0.1 and 382; For 3.5 seconds, each light illuminates the scene for 40 microseconds.


Electronic Survey (ELINT) is provided by the SRS-13 Thong system. It is one of the older generation systems, enabling the capture of marine and terrestrial sources of radiation at a distance of at least 100 percent of their own range in the main waveform (i.e., the moment the SRS-13 detects an enemy radar, it is on the edge of the radar range). In azimuth, the angular range of detection is 25 and & # 382; 30 degrees & # 328; & # 367; and in the vertical axis 24-25 degrees & # 328; & # 367 ;. The carrier frequency of the radiation source is recorded, as well as the pulse repetition frequency and the side from which the signal was captured - left or right. This inconspicuous determination of direction is a weakness of the system. The SRS-13 size receiving antenna is located at the back of the KKR container and the detected information is recorded on the
classic ("wet") film. The length of the film allows you to record 5-10 hours of recording depending on the recording speed. KKR-2A was a different variant. The AP-402 weighs 58 kg, has a focal length of 90.5 mm and uses 80 mm film. It is designed for shooting from low altitudes. It covers an area with a width of ten times the flight altitude of the carrier, with a length of 500 times the altitude.


The KKR-2Š container contains a radar with a Štik-2M sensing system and the ŠRK Trassa datalink. The radar allows you to scan an area with a width of 4-24 km, with a resolution of 5 - 7.5 m.


The KKR-2P version is again equipped with a Špil-2M laser sensor, which covers an area with a width of several times the height of the carrier, with a resolution of 25-400 m (depending on the flight altitude).


The KKR-2E variant then contains the Efir-1 radiation detection system.
