Military cartridge for the Austrian Werndl M1873/77 single-shot rifle. Brass cartridge case, 24,00 g lead bullet with paper collar, black powder, Berdan primer. In 1886 the cartridge was reconstructed for the repeating rifle and marked "11 mm für Repetiergewehre scharfe Patrone M.1886". The M.1886 cartridge was labored with thicker powder, the bullet was made of hard lead.
