Od 19. května 2010 cvičí více než stovka příslušníků dánského letectva s osmi stíhacími letouny F-16 Fighting Falcon na americké základně Luke AFB, stát Arizona. Dánské letouny jsou vyzbrojeny mj. střelami AIM-9X Sidewinder a bombami GBU-31 či GBU-49. Ty jsou podle vyjádření Dánů "so big that we definitely can't drop them in Denmark".
