Ruský podnik Alexejevskoje Servise dnes na aukcii v Rige získal za 1,5 milióna latov(3 mil. dolárov) bývalé vojenské mestečko Skrunda-1.
Toto mestečko slúžilo v časoch ZSSR ako RL stanica včasnej výstrahy, po rozpade ZSSR bolo v r.1995 príkazom vlády Lotyšska zlikvidované obyvatelia presídlení. Mestečko sa rozprestiera na ploche cca 45 hektárov, pozostáva z asi 70 budov, od nemocnice, pošty, hotela, až po atómové podzemné bunkre.
