Armored tricycle Filatov

At the beginning of the year 1915 he worked out the chief the Officer's shooting school in Oranienbaumu gen. mjr. Filatov project light armored car-tricycle with cannon fire or machine-gun armament. His effort was terminated in December 1915, when it started in the workshops of the above-mentioned school to produce a prototype vehicle with machine-gun armament. On the basis of the experience with the prototype was to April 1916 made even eight machine-gun and one cannon vehicle.
The three wheeled chassis, partly of its own production from damaged cars (such as the Hupp Motor Company, Maxwell), that powered the engines of various types from 16 to 25 HP was fitted armor with a thickness of 4-6 mm. The front steerable wheel was uncovered, forward in front of the vehicle, behind him was saved the engine. In a small cabin at the front sat the driver (in some with even the commander), which in the upper part of the cover odklopná armor plate with visors. By the end of the year 1916 was made a further eight light vehicles (with a weight of 1.4 tons) already with an indoor suspension front wheel in the Ižorském the race. This vehicle was included in the state 1. (2 ks), 7. (2 ks), 8. (3 pieces), and 9. (1) the section of the armored cars. The vehicle is then participated in the civil war (Volunteer army - 1 pc, Red army) .
The last survivor of the pieces (4) have been recorded in the state of DRRA even at the end of the year 1922.
