Single-engine, two-seat bomber biplane of mixed design, aft landing gear with spur, engine variant of the Aero A-100. The aircraft was built at the request of the Ministry of National Defence, which wanted to use the engines it had already purchased.

In early 1937, 28 of this type were scrapped and sold to Estonia, which acted only as an intermediary in selling them to the Republican government of Spain. About half of these aircraft were captured by the Nationalist Air Force, which used them as trainers until the mid-1950s.

Diskuse

Dear,
on the internet appeared two photos from the aviation boneyard in the Polish Deblinu after ending the Polish-German war in September 1939. It seems to me that the two of them could be shots of the Aero A-101. How could he get to Poland? I know that the Aero A-101 no. 15 of 7. June 1939 fled from Piestany to Poland two Slovak pilots. Maybe this is the machine even if the tactical number 4 (14?) it does not match. It is possible that the Poles have put this machine into a state of some training unit and tactical number is a typo. However, the fact that nepřemalovali markings this assumption does not support. Can someone přidát more information about this particular machine?.
