This page teletype machine served as an output stage for receiving and transmitting messages over teletype circuits with manual and automatic connection operation. The design and construction guarantee the possibility of cooperation with all teletype machines, working with a telegraph speed of 50 Bd and the international alphabet MTA 2.
It can receive messages even when the operator is not present and can be equipped with a signaling device for monitoring the end of the punched tape in the punch and monitoring the condition of the paper on the printer. If the punched tape (or teletype paper) is exhausted, this machine will break the teletype connection and mimic the busy status. This prevents the message from being lost.


Telegraph speeds - T 100 is available in two versions:
- a) with a telegraph speed of 50 Bd, (400 strokes/min = 66 words/min). It is possible to switch to another telegraph speed up to 75 Bd
- b) with a telegraph speed of 100 Bd, (800 keystrokes/min = 133 words/min). It is possible to switch to a lower telegraph speed, eg 75 Baud or 50 Baud.

Teletype T 100 can be equipped with a built-in punch and a built-in transmitter made of punched tape.
- Built-in transmitter allows transmission from punched tape at a constant maximum speed of 400 rpm.
- Built-in punch allows simultaneous recording of received messages on a five-track punch tape. This tape can be used for multiple transmissions by a built-in transmitter, or a separate automatic transmitter.
For connection to the manual and automatic control panel, the machine is equipped with a dial box, a dial for automatic dialing and a transmitter of its own brand to identify the subscriber. The selector box allows you to write in your own circuit. If a call comes in, the dial box gives a warning signal and automatically switches to the calling party after three seconds. The T 100 telex is complemented by a two-color fingerprint device, which ensures that transmitted messages are printed in red and received in black. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with various accessories to check its proper function, such as checking paper tears, etc.

At the end of the 1970s, CSLA's permanent teletype network had 1,640 connections.
Along with the expansion, the replacement of RFT terminals with the T 100 type was addressed.
In 1981 the replacement of 500 units was secured, the remaining 1,140 were to be secured by the end of 1985.

In the first post, the picture really shows a T-100 teletype, ie a licensed product from the early eighties. In the second post, however, there is no T-100, it is an original Siemens product, not what was produced in our country under the name T-100, the license was purchased to replace the older teletypes RFT and Lorenz.
The machine in the second post may be the original Siemens, but it is not equipped with a dial, for example, so to be used in automatic operation as it was in our country at the time, it would have to have another device.

The Simens made the T 100 as a modular system. By that I mean that the customer had the opportunity to purchase this model with additional expansion equipment. The missing dial is exactly this case - in the case of connection to a closed circuit (not telex) it did not have to be at all.
The designation T 100 corresponds exactly to the original designation Simens.


But the second picture is really a T 100 from the production of Simens.
I just thought I had two (one definitely) original machines produced by Simens.

I believe that, but to put it this way is as if a photo of SAVIUM had been added to the article on AVIA 15 because it is exactly the same license, I think it should be either two topics or (even if it is possible) it should be stated that in addition to the licenses, the original machines were used, which looked like this. Otherwise, the average reader has quite a goulash when he has two photos of two very different-looking machines (under a plastic blanket, the license plate looks almost the same, but it is not recognizable in the photo).

A co bylo dříve: vejce, nebo slepice?
Já to nevím", ale určitě byl I. originální Siemen T 100 - proto DEU a pak "licenční" T 100 proto /CZK.


Aby v tom neměl průměrný čtenář guláš by prospělo místo polemiky (byť Zalce) bych očekával seriozní doplnění informací a případně fotek odlišností, doplňků apod..
Jistě je řešením "rozdělení", ale na foru jsou SPOLU mnohem odlišněšní mutace.

Možná by stálo za to uvést příklad, ale to že je někde chyba, není důvodem ji zopakovat. To že Siemens T-100 je jeden stroj a Zbrojovka Brno T-100(nebo Zbrojovka Brno Siemens T-100) stroj poněkud jiný, se asi schodneme, problém není v tom že jsou oba stroje smíšeny v jednom tématu, problém je že není napsáno že jde o dvě různé věci, původní a československou modifikaci. Pokud je to tak jak to bylo ráno, má čtenář jasně problém, vidí dvě značně rozdílné věci a jeden popis, pokud to někomu přijde logické, asi máme na logiku různý pohled.
to dav, ani já nechci zasahovat nikomu do toho co "jeho jest " proto když se mi něco zdá nesmyslem upozorním na to, s tím že si moderátor rozhodne co s tím dál. sloučení typu CZK/PER (třeba pro peruánský tank mi nepřijde ideální, tím spíš když původní věc byla vyráběna v dost odlišné podobě jinde, co vím k tomu běžně slouží hypertextový odkaz kdy v původní verzi napíšu v licenci vyráběn v zemi XY a prolinkuji to.

Páni, nechcem vnášať rozpory, ale podľa mojich vedomostí, Brnenské T100 mali aj diakritiku. Pochybujem, že originál Siemens mal napr. mäkčeň.

S tou diakritikou si moc jistý nejsem, pokud si pamatuji dobře, tak veškeré materiály, šířené po telexové síti ŘPL AČR byly bez diakritiky a to i v době, kdy mi jsme už měli zapojeny do této sítě počítače, ale na přijímacích stanicích byly právě T 100.
Nechci se pouštět do nějaké fakty nepodložené diskuse, ale tohle vím docela určitě. ono psát předpověď počasí asi šestkrát denně bez diakritiky po dobu pěti let nejde moc zapomenout - ale schválně se pokusím vyloudit do kolegů nějaký materiál, který by toto potvrdil či vyvrátil
