If someone would be interested in seeing the various components of the pistol of the pattern 24, so they are in the book "Příruška for ncos". Were issued in 1934 or 1937 (both are almost identical and the pictures anymore at all, just the adjustments in the texts)..

Diskuse

It is not very clear why Finland ordered and bought Czechoslovak vz.24 pistols in between the Winter War and the Continuation War. For Finland, which had a standardized 9mm Para cartridge, it was a weapon using different ammunition with all the resulting consequences. However, 3,285 of these were ordered and delivered (by Germany) and issued to frontline units during the war (i.e. in 1941) under the designation M/23. Their atypical ammunition caused some difficulties and perhaps that is why many were lost during the war, and when the Finns revised them after the war they had only 1,723 pieces, which were stored and sold as obsolete and surplus in 1986.
