Code neon light beacon KNS-4
It is used to mark an airfield or point in the field at night or even during the day under ZPP. The beacon emits a steady or intermittent light in the rhythm of Morse code symbols. At airports, it is most often placed at a BPRS ("proximity") site and then broadcasts a pair of letters of the Distant Proximity Radio Station (DPRS) code.
The KNS-4 beacon can be used as: 1) mobile - in a GAZ-66 box car 2) stationary.
Supply voltage: 380 V / 50 Hz Power input 3,8 kW Working modes: - Constant light - Intermittent (number of flashes per minute) 30 or 60 - Code (two Morse code marks)
Visibility range at night altitude 500 to 3000 m is up to 90 km
