Radio station R-140X

The R-140X radio station is mounted in a box body K 131 on a ZIL-131 chassis and was delivered to the CSLA from licensed production within the RVHP from MLR and was partially equipped with components from our production.
(this distinguished it from other versions of the R-140 "original" production)

- Frequency range: 1.5 - 29.9999 MHz
- Frequency spacing: 100 Hz
- Transmitter power: 1.000 W,
Range: 150 - 300 per trip from a pole or APS antenna, up to 2,000 km from "fixed" antennas in place
- Types of operation:
(a) Telephone : Single channel F3; Dual channel:
(b) Telegraph : Single channel A1; F1 /125, F1 /250, F1 /500 ( key or teletype); Dual channel: F6 /250 (key or teletype).
- Operating mode: simplex, duplex
- Control methods:
(a) local from the radio operator's workstation
b) remote from driver's cab or POS (portable control box up to 1 km), separate DO from PRP-4Up set by radio station R-138

In addition to the transmitter, the R-140X set includes:
- Set of antennas: APZ; 4m rod; 10m telescopic ("Magirus"); "V" antennas 2x 40m; 2x 11m dipole
- Transmitting antenna switch (PVA) and receiving antenna switch (PPA)
- Control box for radio operator (OSR)
- Radio receiver R-155P
- Radio receiver R-4A
- Radio receiver R-138
- Radio station R-107T
- Radio station R-109D
- Teletype D-302.2A "Dalibor"
- K-STT 1 device keying

- EC 6 kW (CSAB-6-3-400)
- Generator GAB-8-T, (powered by car engine for emergency power supply at the site)
