Яковлев ВВП-6
This V/STOL aircraft project (Vertical/Short Takeoff and Landing - an aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing or take-off and landing on a very short runway) was developed by the Yakovlev design office probably sometime in the 1960s. The task of this aircraft was to supply and fire support frequently maneuvering or advanced operational bases.

It was supposed to be a huge monster with a box fuselage about 49 m long and three tandem wings. The machine was to be lifted by means of 6 six-bladed rotors located at the ends of the wings, each of which was to be powered by four turboshaft engines.

On this machine was the most remarkable armament, because on the back was to carry six launchers with PLŘS system S-75. Thus, a flying PLRK whether he should only land at the entrusted object and defend it with fire from the ground, or whether he should also be able to conduct fire in flight.

However, this remarkable but megalomaniac project was never realized.
