Portable radios R-809, R-809M and R-809M2
The different versions differ in frequency spacing and channel or frequency selection.
It was used as a backup radio for phonic communication with aircraft over short distances.
- Frequency band 100 - 150 MHz.
R-809:
The frequency band can be operated on 601 frequencies (channels). 2 channels can be pre-tuned and switched during operation. It uses 2 crystals for transmitter "A" and 2 for receiver "B". These are identical, as are the tuning elements and mechanics as in the rdst R-800.
- Antennas: disc or rod
- Power 0,5 W
- Transmission power 12 W
- Power supply:
(a) from block P1: via an inverter, 2 batteries 2 NKN-24, recharged by a "foot" dynamo
b) from block P2: dry anode batteries and 2 batteries 2 NKN-24
- The set is transported in two boxes: radio and dynamo. Weight of the set 120 kg
