Radio station SCR-522
The VHF/VHF radio set SCR-522 was introduced into the equipment of the American Air Force from 1943.
Corresponded to British radio stations (Transmitter/Receiver) TR 1143 and TR 5043.
It consists of:
- BC-625 transmitter
- BC-624 receiver
- Frequency range 100 to 156 Mc (MHz)
Controlled by 4 crystals - for the transmitter they were marked "A", for the receiver "B"
- Remote switching control of channels 1 to 4
- Transmitter power 6 W
- Power supply 28 V
