Mobile radio KV semi-automatic sight R-301 with optical indication on the screen.
It replaced the PKV-45 sight and was used to target aircraft equipped with RSI-6 or RSB-5 radio stations. For communication with the aircraft, a 200 W KV transmitter was usually used (P-52 "Pelican" or P-54 "Pelican" in Tatra 805 radio vehicles).
The frequency range of targeting is 1.5 to 12 MHz, types of operation - A1, A2, A3.
The set consists of: 1) instrument car 2) source car
In both cases, the cars are ZIS-151 (or their successors ZiL-151) with a KUNG box body.
The antenna system of the R-301 type consists of 3 pairs of H-Adcock dipoles (6 masts "in a circle" in the directions 030°, 090°, 150°, 210°, 270° and 330°). In the centre, on the carriage, is an auxiliary antenna for determining the side of the bearing.
Type R-301A differs in the arrangement of the antenna system - it consists of 8 masts arranged in a circle: 360°, 045°, 090°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, 315°.
