Kranpanzer II
Information about this type was provided by Mr. Jirka Tintěra.
Under this unofficial name lies the conversion of the platform Pz.Kpfw.II into a mobile crane. The reconstruction is the work of the company Škoda Plzeň, which repaired damaged German tanks. The machine was to assist in the assembly work. In this case, it is a version of Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf.a3 (Fgst.Nr. 20058). According to Mr. Tintěr, the machine could have been created on the occasion of the repair of the 100th piece Pz.Kpfw.I. Three photos are available for this machine (Nos. 51244, 51245 and 51247). The vehicle served in the factory even after the end of the war.
