RPG-30 (РПГ-30) - a reactive anti-tank grenade launcher.
The grenade launcher is also capable of operating against targets equipped with active defense systems (destroying incoming projectiles threatening the asset). The grenade launcher is equipped with two warheads - the main warhead, which is used to launch the tandem warhead, and an auxiliary warhead, which fires a decoy target that activates the asset's active defence system. When fired, the decoy target is fired first, followed by the main warhead (PG-29V (ПГ-29В)) with a minimal delay (about 0.2-0.3 s). The system exploits the gap between the two firings of active elements on incoming projectiles, so that if active defenses operate against a deceptive target, they are unable to respond to the main warhead.
The PG-29V warhead is capable of penetrating homogeneous armor up to 650 mm thick (plus additional imaginary or dynamic armor), more than 1500 mm thick reinforced concrete wall, approximately 2000 mm thick brick wall, and 4000 mm thick layer of wood and earth layer.
