The Command and Staff Radio Vehicle VŠRV-1 is part of the MOKYS system designed to provide command and control of subordinate units, via radio communications, to support the command and control functions of the commander and staff at command posts.
Similar to the VŠRV-2 vehicle, it provides:
- transition to the VHF radio network ( with a speed of up to 72kbit/s) with a power of 50W
- transition to the KV radio network (9,6kbit/s) with 150W power
- access to voice (VoIP) and basic data services
- transition to a broadband UKV radio network (9.5Mbit/s) up to 4km on the move and 18km on site
- access to internal voice communications
- wireless data access
Unlike VSRV-2, VSRV-1 does not have as much ballistic protection and is not designed for areas of direct contact with an adversary. The system is mounted on a removable container with the capability of autonomous operation on a Delta chassis (or other container carrier).
