10-in Mortar Motor Carriage T94
The T94 (Mortal Motor Carriage) mortar

It was planned for production alongside the T92 HMC and T93 GMC.
The T94 MMC was to be armed with a 250 mm mortar on an M40 chassis.
It was never produced, only a mock-up was produced.

Dear Colleague,
You are probably referring to the 10-in Mortar Motor Carriage T94. It is a pity that you draw your statements from only one brochure by the controversial publisher Mr Ledwoch.

The original designation of this weapon was given in US inches. After the end of the war, there was a re-designation of the calibre of the weapon from US inches to our millimetres, which was accompanied by confusion in terminology and conversions. To this day, I have not come across an American document that clarifies whether the Americans consider the current caliber figure to be a so-called nominal caliber or whether it is a design caliber. Therefore, I suggest you consider whether to use the historical (DSV-era) designation or the inaccurate post-war or recalculated designation. I would lean towards the former naming convention myself:

As for the actual vehicle, I would note the following:
- in 1945, a project for a self-propelled mortar emplacement on a modified T83 chassis was conceived
- the 10-inch T5E2 mortar was intended to arm the vehicle
- in 1946, development was terminated

Note
The illustration used is similar in appearance to the source below.
