SVK - MKVRS (mobilná krátkovlnná rádiová stanica)

Mobilná shortwave radio stanica MKVRS - zabezpečenie transmission údajov to siete KV/VHF/UHF - voice and dátové data, with rýchlosťou transmission from 9.6 kbit/s (KV) to 9.5 Mbit/s (broadband UHF siete). Súčasť mobilného komunikačného system MOKYSprototype made in cooperation of BAE Systems and MO SR (Delta-B, s. r. o.)

The system is umiestnený on the chassis terénneho obrneného vehicle RG-32M

Nb.: in súčasnej time after the successful military skúškach OS SR.

MKVRS provides operational-level liaison supporting the command of ground, air, and joint forces deployed in allied/UN/EU operations. As a long-range communication means, it is suitable for communication with the deployed contingent of the Slovak Armed Forces in the operational area. It provides voice and data connectivity to other KV networks and to the local command post via voice. It also allows sending and receiving voice and data using the KV, VHF and UKV radio network.

Communication equipment:
- Rohde & Schwarz MR3002HA1 1, MR3002U A2 KV/VKV radios
- VHF/GPS antenna Rohde & Schwarz HV3015/GPS base A5
- Rohde & Schwarz KV antenna HA104 A6
- 150 kW amplifier Rohde & Schwarz VK3150 A7
- 50 W VHF amplifier Rohde & Schwarz VT3050 A8
- UKV network radio (UKV NET-WPNR) BAE Systems 1051200 A10
- Rohde & Schwarz MR3000P handheld VHF radio
- Rohde & Schwarz IC3023 battery chargers
- Ethernet media converter

- Cisco 1240 series wireless access point/bridge
- Rohde & Schwarz KM3031 antenna mast
- Rohde & Schwarz KM011 antenna mast

Remote communication is provided by two different systems. To ensure maximum range and redundancy, one 500 W KV/VHF radio and one combat network radio (CNR) are supplied with the MKVRS, coupled with a 150 W power amplifier and an antenna tuning unit. With these powerful amplifiers, the range of the KV radios is 10 - 5000 km. Through the ALE procedure, clean operating frequencies are established; in the case of heavily interfered combat frequencies, a frequency hopping scheme is used. The KV radio network management and planning software is capable of allocating KV spectrum to multiple KV links and minimising (or eliminating) potential electromagnetic interference. In deployment, one of the three antennas is installed on the vehicle and two others outside the vehicle at a greater distance to suppress interference. During movement, the antennas are stowed in a storage compartment. When in transit, they are deployed as follows:
- CNR antennas KV (A6-HA104) and VHF (A5-HV3015) on the roof of the vehicle
- CNR HF antenna (A14-AK503) at a distance of 50 m from the platform on mast KM011 (8 m)
- CNR VHF antenna (A16-HL3031) at a distance of 50 m from the platform on mast KM3031 (8 m)
- CNR HF antenna (A14-AK503) at a distance of 50 m from the platform on mast KM3032 (8 m)
- a high power (500 W) antenna (A33-8FWS-90N) is deployed off the platform on its integrated mast (6/12 m)
- two WiFi antennas are deployed on the roof.

During movement, service communication is possible with hand-held radios.
