CZK - bodák vz. 33 ke karabině vz. 33

Spike vz.33 for carbine vz.33, Czechoslovakia

Blade length: 250 mm

Knife bayonet with straight, double-edged blade, passing into a central point. Upward pointing blade. Handle wooden, chrome-plated, connected by two screws with nuts, fitted with cut-outs for screwdriver exclusively on the nuts. Guard with ring, attached to the bayonet with two rivets. Clamping mechanism located in the pommel.
Scabbard all-metal, ball-ended, with a single hanging hook for the slinger.
The bayonet has a typical leather sling.
The bayonet was designed for the vz.16/33 carbine (also referred to simply as vz.33), which was introduced into the armament of gendarmes (gendarmerie) and financial guards. It is related in type to the army bayonet vz.24, from which it differs primarily in its smaller overall dimensions as well as the more pronounced shape of the muzzle.

The bayonet for the rifle vz. 33 - after the occupation blackened and the letter S removed from the ČSZ stamping, fortunately no other "German" modifications were made to it.

Citace - Pohraničník :

The bayonet to the rifle vz. 33 - after the occupation blackened and the letter S removed from the ČSZ mintage, fortunately no other "German" modifications were made to it.

This modification is not German, but purely Czech, Protectorate.

Citace - Tango :

After the occupation and the declaration of the Slovak state, the removal of all symbols of the common Czechoslovak state was ordered on both sides of the Morava river. In the newly established Protectorate, the Slovak emblem was removed from the lion's breast (usually by cutting it in half), and sometimes the entire lion. In Slovakia, the lion was removed in its entirety (again with a peck), and the letters "CS" in the name of the armoury were also split. Occurrence of rifles vz.33 with preserved lion on the sleeve
is therefore very rare.

The "German" editing (that's why it's in quotes) I meant the other adjustments that our bayonets moved closer to the zvklostem established in germany - I mean cutting off the shoulder or cut the screws to the screwdriver, these adjustments including the blackening are nothing other than copy the German practice, that's why I marked them as "German".

Otherwise I've seen protektorátním the police used a bayonet vz. 33 and he already had all these adjustments..
