Jinak překlad nápisu zní zhruba: Nikoliv připomínka smrti, ale cti.
Předpokládám, že je to narážka na to, že zbraň je určena spíše pro slavnostní/reprezentační účely a ne k boji.

Děkuji za překlad. Nejsem rozhodně znalec chladných zbraní, ale tohle je skutečně exkluzivní, slavnostní a krásná zbraň a nemyslím, že ji majitel někdy tasil k boji. Možná by stálo za to, zjistit její "životopis". Kdoví, nebyla-li kdysi součástí mobiliáře nějakého komunisty zabraného zámku. Je nabízena za 70 K

Ide o súkromnú úpravu šable vz.1904 pre dôstojníkov c.k. jazdectva. Pokial je mi známe, do výzbroje československej jazdy bol oficiálne prijatý iba vzor pre mužstvo
