Improvised tank destroyer created on the platform of an old tractor Schneider CD (manufactured by Holt). The tractor received armor plates and in its rear part was mounted German anti-tank cannon 5 cm Pa. TO. 38 L/60 modified for coastal defense (cannon placed on sockellafetten). The machine at the head of the column in the photo is captured at the time of the surrender of one of the German units. According to the caption given in the source, this photograph is taken from the port area La Rochelle.
