The cable is connected with a round connector to the round connector of the radio and secured in it with a locking screw. The other side is connected to the hood with the rectangular end cap. Pressing the switch to the PRD position transmits a voice message from the throat loudspeakers of the hood. Pressing the switch in the VYZ position transmits the call (similar to the RF-10).
