Prague R-4
At the time of the world birth of armored vehicles, the Praga company did not lag behind in the trend of the time either. In 1916, she developed an armored car for the Turkish police. The platform consisted of a classic Praga R 4-II series truck. It was powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine (4b?) With a displacement of 3,824 cm 3 and an output of 21-26 horsepower (?). The transmission had four gears. The armor was made of 5 mm thick sheets, the tower was open from above, but an emergency roof could be used for covering. The armament was concentrated in the tower and consisted of one machine gun vz. 07/12 with a supply of 5000 rounds. The crew consisted of three men. The prototype passed tests in 1917. A small series of 10 pieces of this OA was produced.
