The JAWA 50 type 21 motorcycle was produced between 1967 and 1977 at Považské strojárny in Považská Bystrica as a continuation of the JAWA 50 series of small, two-seat motorcycles. In an attempt to give it a sportier look, which the market demanded, the rider's leg covers were removed and the handlebars were changed to sport handlebars.
The T T Ds are fully identical to the JAWA 50 Type 05 motorcycle.
