Basic cannon description
The barrel is made of cannon (copper: tin = 9: 1), has a caliber of 8 cm, the bore is equipped with six clockwise grooves. It is stored by means of post pins in the wall carriage. Above the mouth is a fly for closer targets, more distant objects were aimed at the fly placed on the right pin. The visor for a shorter distance is located on the so-called bottom frieze. For distant targets, the visor was inserted into the groove on the right side of the ass.
In the following photos of the muzzle of the barrel, there are six visible grooves in the barrel and also a front sight.
