Heinkel He 112 A-0
Reconstruction of the appearance of the He 112 V5 as it was tested in the naval arsenal in Yokosuka during 1938. The machine probably flew in a uniform coating with the basic gray-green paint RLM 02 in which it left the factory. Accompanied by Japanese sovereign characters, a red signpost and the code of the test unit on it.

One of the first modern machines tested by the Luftwaffe in Spain at the Legion Condor was the He 112 V6. The machine flew with the code designation 5 • 1 and it is very likely that it did not receive any camouflage paint, only the sovereign designation. Most of the sheets remained in the original color of the duralumin alloy, only the most exposed covers were painted with the base color RLM 02.
