CZK - vz. 22 (8,35 cm kanón proti letadlům)

Anti-aircraft gun vz.22 calibre 8,35 cm

A Škoda system gun with a horizontal wedge breech, manufactured by Akciová společnost, formerly Škoda Plzen.
The gun consisted of a barrel, cradle, lafette and carriage. The steel barrel of the shell construction was autofretted in later series and had a horizontal wedge breech, it was placed on the cradle, under which the liquid brake was located, two strut spindles were located above the barrel. The upper part of the cradle carried the cradle with the barrel, operator's seats, balancers and the foot trigger mechanism, while the lower part of the cradle (connected to the upper by a ball bearing) was attached to the platform of the anti aircraft gun carriage of the vz. 24, which was transported by a Skoda Z tractor and arrested in firing position by two lateral stabilisers.
The firing used a vz. 23 time grenade and a vz. 23/30 time grenade.
Between 1923 and 1933, more than 150 guns were produced, of which several were exported to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Republic of Lithuania and 144 were taken by domestic customers.
