Poznámka:
Note:
- The Potez 670 it was a two-seat long-range escort fighter and bomber destroyer. Initially powered by two 700hp Gnome- Rhone 14M radials, it was re-engined after initial flight trials with two 800hp Hispano-Suiza 14AB 12/13 radials, with which it resumed flight tests in July 1939 as the Potez 671. Several production variants were proposed, but flight trials were incomplete. The aircraft was destroyed during the German invasion in May 1940. At the time, work had begun on an initial batch of 40 Potez 671 C2 fighters.

Historie:
- The Potez 63 versions proved themselves in all their assigned roles, but it was clear that their performance needed to be increased by fitting more powerful engines, and the armament and passive protection also deserved improvement.
- Potez first designed the 670 fighter. This was a long range three-seat fighter, but before completion it was changed to the two-seat 671 C.2. The change from the 63 series was an improvement in the shapes, the wing was now elliptical, so it was not a change to make the aircraft easier to produce, but a change to improve the performance and flight characteristics of the aircraft. Changes were also made to the tail surfaces and the undercarriage design was simplified.
- The installation of the new Hispano-Suiza 14 AB 12/13 engines, differentiated the aircraft from the original 670 version, which was to be powered by the slightly lower power Gnome-Rhone 14M engines.
- The prototype first flew in July 1939, tests were not completed until the surrender and the prototype was destroyed by German bombs. There were a number of projects for the C.2 fighter version, the CN night fighter, the B bomber and the A reconnaissance. No aircraft, other than the prototype, was completed.
- The weapons were not mounted, but the hinges for them had already been made. Of interest is the planned use of the HS-404 gun for rear hemisphere defense.
