SOV - 9T22B (návesový prepravník)

The 9T22B transporter is designed for the transfer and short-term storage of 3M9 missiles without containers or in K-5PA containers.

The transporter allows for transfer :

- 1 to 6 missiles without containers,
- 1 to 6 missiles in containers,
- 1 to 6 empty containers,
- ZIP-1 missile kits on the transporter as well as missile protective equipment,
- carrying out the prescribed checks on the missiles stored on the racks which are on the carrier.

The transporter consists of a modified ZIL-157KV tractor, which is coupled to a semi-trailer.

To increase the throughput, the transporter has a mechanical drive on the wheels of the semi-trailer. The drive is switched on from the driver's cab.

The rockets are loaded and unloaded by a 2T7 charging transporter or a crane. The rockets can be unloaded either on the 2P25 launcher and the 2T7 reloading carrier or on stands with a pedestal.

Trailer

Used to deploy the containers and secure the missiles being transported and the equipment required in their transfer.

The trailer includes :

- frame : consisting of left and right stringers, which are connected by a total of 6 cross members. The stringers are reinforced along their entire length.
- The platforms: right and left, used for easier handling when loading rockets,
- 3 beams : front, rear and interceptor beam. They are structurally identical,
- The bracket:is designed to attach the arcs to the sail in the marching position,
- the chests of the kit : ZIP-1 and the cassette,
- chassis : middle and rear axle and wheels, swingarm suspension with suspension and torsion bars, 2 cross stabilizers.
- hinged support: designed to support the front of the trailer when disconnected from the tractor,
- trailer drive : designed to increase ground clearance,
- air device : wheel brakes, tyre pressure adjustment, control of the semitrailer's split gearbox.
- electrical equipment : light signalling, remote control of the trailer drive actuation system.
