2A46MS - tank cannon with a smooth bore mainly, modernization of the originally Soviet tank cannon 2A46. The 2A46MS cannon was originally designed for a Slovak modernized tank T-72 M2 with the aim of increasing 357; its combat effectiveness & # 357; and accuracy & # 357; stre & # 318; by. In addition to T-72M2 he also had export successes - Polish tank PT-91M Pendekar pre Malajziu.
Upgrading increases the likelihood of & # 357; hit with the first shot.
The modernization is based on the original cannon 2A46 with the following design changes:
- symmetrization of the butt structure of the barrel,
- by reducing the resistance of the loading brake during the movement of the projectile in the barrel,
- by shifting the axis of the loading brake below the axis mainly in the measuring plane,
- using two opposing gatekeepers and changing their position above the barrel axis
