I am afraid that there occurred a mixing of several weapons, from the year 1941 was in service with the 5cm Flak 41, but this is under development enter Gerät 56 V2. goes very well the weapon introduced in the number of only 60 units (in 1945 there were just 24). Gerät 58 is a flowchart of the sample which was neither produced nor introduced. Had and against the here-mentioned a significantly longer barrel (L/76,5) regards the development of Rheinmetall-Borsig, under the designation Gerät 58K was developed by company Dürkopp and Gustloff Werke developed another never unfinished prototype. Neither of the weapons has not been introduced, their development was initiated only in the year 1943 and until the end of the war has not been completed..

The erroneous data som fixed.

The company Rheinmetal-Borsig (Gerat 58), aj company Krupp (Gerat 58K) sa tried along with kanónom vyriešiť aj system riadenia paľby pomocou streleckého rádiolokátora. By the end of the war sa the development of the system did not finish. The development was completed in Sovietskom zväze, who on the basis of this type of vyrábal 57 mm PLK S-60.

It was a development sample (hence the name Gerät - device), only a few prototypes were made. The development started in 1944 was not completed in Germany. It was to be a system including, besides the weapon itself, a command centre (i.e. a fire control device) and a radar. It was developed by Rheinmetall-Borsig in Düsseldorf and collaborated with Dürkopp in Bielefeld. The number of prototypes built is unknown, some of the chassis were used in the construction of Flak 214 guns

A rival project to the Gerät 58 Rheinmetall, developed by Friedrich Krupp AG in Essen. The prototype was never fully completed (for example, a different lafette was used) therefore no detailed data is available from it.
Similar projects were also undertaken by Dürkopp in Bielefeld and Gustloff-Werke in Suhl, but it is not known whether their results reached the construction stage.
