I beg to respectfully express my opinion.

The BTR 60 in the photo of 3.6.2004, sent by Cichy, is a modification of the command vehicle BTR 60 PBK. This is evidenced in particular by the fact that the vehicle is equipped with a gun turret with organic armament - a KPVT tank machine gun, calibre 14.5 mm, as the main weapon, and an interlocked PKT tank machine gun, calibre 7.62 mm. (In this case, however, the barrel of the main weapon is so difficult to discern that it could also be an NSV air machine gun, calibre 12.7 mm.) Unlike the BTR 60PB, however, the vehicle has a door on the left side armour for access to the on-board lead-acid battery compartment, intended to power the on-board radios (there were 3 in total).

Since, to my knowledge, this modification was not introduced into the CSLA armament, the vehicle's markings with Czechoslovak cockades are probably the result of a collector's pursuit of a CSLA transporter.

According to my personal opinion, the photo comes from the driving tests of some private company (I can't remember the name) which mounted two Daewo-Avia diesel engines in the BTR and offered it to the army and for export to those who have BTR in their armament and the gasoline engine was not the right one.It was also at some exhibition. The tests were held in Jince ???
There may be Czechoslovak markings on the vehicle from that time.
