The program for the development of a new tank destroyer, which was to be faster and more controllable than tanks, began on November 20, 1934.
In 1935, Hansa-Lloyd-Goliath created this project of a half-track tank destroyer. The platform consisted of a 3-ton half-belt Hansa-Lloyd HL kl3 (H). The structure was welded from thin sheets at sharp angles. A fully rotating turret was mounted on the roof of the hull, in which a modified 3.7 cm anti-tank cannon was mounted (modified PaK 35/36?). The cannon had a muzzle velocity of 900 m/s and an elevation of -7 °/+ 20 °. A machine gun MG 34 was mounted with a cannon on the left side. Another machine gun was mounted in a rotating circle on top of an open tower, which was also used to fire at low-flying targets. The machine weighed about 6 tons. It was created in a single prototype. Development was stopped due to technical problems. Photographs of the vehicle are dated 28.9.1936.
This project was a forerunner of later machines in the category of infantry support combat vehicles.

In 1936, a similarly conceived project was created on the HL kl4 (H) chassis, which also did not go beyond the scope of project studies.
