Sarath 90 (BMP-90)


Indian project of a light tank, which was based on an infantry fighting vehicle Sarath, which was equipped with a French GIAT TS-90 tower equipped with 90 mm cannon and articulated machine gun caliber 7.62 mm.


The new device was to replace the aged floating tanks in the armament of the Indian army PT-76. In the end, only two prototypes were built and the project was canceled.
