On order of the Waffenamt of 18.1.1939, Wegman & Co. was established in the company of Kassela special demining set Hammer-Schlaggerät. It was a demining track, which had its weight to bring mines to explosion. The produced prototypes were tested on Pz.Kpfw.II. Tral weighed about 2.5 tons. In total, three vehicles were allegedly modified in this way. Their combat deployment is not known.
There are photographs showing a machine with a demining device probably from the African battlefield. Whether this is an evolutionary result of this program, whether it was a field reconstruction is unknown to me.
