Raketomt Rayo originated in cooperation with the chilean company FAMAE, the chilean army and the british Royal Ordnance, which provided some of the key subsystems of a rocket launcher. His public debut took care of that at the military parade dated 19.9. 1997.

Launchers for a total of 24 rockets caliber 160 mm in two containers is lafetováno on the lorry category 6x6 MAN SX 2000 German production. All 24 rockets can be an average of odpalit for 50 p.
