SOV - 1V12 (veliteľské stanovište delostrelectva)

The 1V12 command vehicle kit is designed to direct the fire of a self-propelled artillery squad and to conduct continuous and close interaction with motorized artillery and tank units in various types of combat, including under conditions of use of weapons of mass destruction.


It Enables to address :


- reconnaissance and target coordinate determination,
- determination of firing elements,
- correcting fire,
- maintaining continuous communications with the superior commander ( staff), subordinate units, and the commander of motorized ( tank) artillery units and units assigned,
- topographical-geodetic connection of firing positions and observation posts,
- radiation and chemical reconnaissance,
- conducting march streams,
- measurement of ground weather elements.


The 1V12 kit consists of :


- 1V15 squad leader vehicle (VVO),


- a squad leader vehicle 1V16 (VŠVO),


- three battery commanders' vehicles 1V14 (VVB),


- three senior battery officer command vehicles 1V13 (VVSDB).


All vehicles of the 1V12 set have uniform tracked armoured chassis with 7 axles of the MT-LBu type.


The vehicle provides high maneuverability in combat, overcoming infested sections, water obstacles by swimming, protection of the operator and apparatus from the effects of missiles, splinters, penetrating radiation and light irradiation.


Camouflage nets, natural camouflage agents and camouflage coatings are used to camouflage 1V12 vehicles.
