Egyptian ministertstvo of the interior announced, that the militants of the movement Page yesterday opened fire on a group of police officers and soldiers, who attacked their hideout in the oasis of Bahariya to the southeast of Cairo. According to the BBC, was killed 53 members of the security forces. It killed 15 insurgents. The rebels took advantage of the knowledge of the terrain and the fact that the police were not able to summon help.
