The japanese air self-defense force lost the plane McDonnell Douglas / Mitsubishi F-4EJ Kai, reg. 87-8408, v. no M108, which is damaged during the preparation for take-off on the ground. Both pilots, who in the time of the fire were in the machine escaped unharmed. The incident occurred at the air base Hyakuri.
