Meteoric destroyer USS Sterett (DDG-104) arrived on a scheduled visit to the chinese port of Chan-chan. The commander of the vessel frigate captain Claudio Caluori and the crew of the ship to participate in joint sports events, tours of the ship and other social events with chinese sailors. The destroyer is now a part of the Surface action group Sterett-Dewey (Sterett-Dewey Surface Action Group, Sterett-Dewey SAG) and the China arrived with the crew of the Squadron of destroyers 31 in the head with a naval captain David Bretzem and detachments from the Helicopter maritime strike squadron 49 on the board. Sterett-Dewey SAG carried out in cooperation with local námořnictvy regular patrols in the Western Pacific.
