On Saturday there was an incident between a libyan coast guard and one from the "humanitarian" ships. The libyan navy, which accuses some ngos of working with the smugglers, ordered one of the relief ships to leave libyan territorial waters and did not wait for the boats with the migrants. At the direction of the libyan coast guard then about 570 migrants had to return to the mainland.
Against the intervention of the libyan coast guard (which was apparently coordinated with the Italian authorities) are protesting the non-governmental organisation organising the transfer of migrants from Libya.
According to the Office of the UN High commissioner for refugees since the beginning of the year received approximately 61 250 migrants across the Mediterranean to Italy, other 1778 people killed or missing.
