In 1939, the project of a light tractor Laffly V 10 M (Montagne - mountain) was created. It was a derivative based on Laffly V 10 R intended for mountain units. The chassis had a reduced wheelbase from 1100 cm to 1000 cm, the wheelbase of 2050 cm was maintained. The vehicle was designed to transport a two-member crew and 400 kg of material. In the tow he could tow a trailer with a load capacity of 650 kg, respectively. 25 mm anti-tank cannon. It was a 4x4 vehicle and was slang for the French Jeep. During the tests, the prototype bore the registration number "2132-W-1", later it was changed to "6810-W-1". Long-term plans included the production of 500 vehicles in 1941. However, until the occupation, only one prototype was created, which has survived to the present day.
