On the chassis of the German crawler tractor LHB Boxer (Linke-Hoffman-Werke AG), or later FAMO Boxer (in the service of the Wehrmacht referred to as Leichter Raupenschlepper Famo, Type Boxer) a remarkable improvised conversion to a light tank was created. A simple armoured superstructure was mounted on the chassis to protect both engine and crew. On top of the superstructure was placed a fully pivoting turret with a rifled machine gun. Some sources state that it was a Croatian modification or a modification of the German units in the Balkans.
