The syrian arab air force lost aircraft Aero L-39 Albatros the nes version (probably the L-39ZO), while it is not clear whether the plane crashed due to the actions of an opponent or due to a technical malfunction. Pilot captain Ali Farhan Ghanem was killed. The machine landed near the Sadadu, Homs.
